Before you apply

To volunteer with Tummies Not Trash, you currently need to:

  • - Have access to a mobile phone capable of receiving emails and accessing our volunteer portal.
  • - Be able to communicate confidently in spoken and written English.
  • - Be comfortable following written procedures and completing our online checklists.

These requirements are necessary because our training, volunteer portal, safety guidance and operational checklists are currently available only in English.

We recognise that this may prevent some people from volunteering at the moment, and we hope to improve accessibility in the future as our resources allow.
